Charlie is almost 8 years old and approximately 70lb. We believe he is a plott hound mix. We have had him since he was 6 months old. Recently our family moved to Boston from Atlanta and we were unable to bring him due to our living situation (corporate housing) and issues with our toddler. He’s incredibly loyal and well-behaved for experienced handlers. He is professionally trained through Smith Farms Kennel in Conyers GA. We have attempted to rehome him since October with little luck. He has been in 3 homes in 3 months and none of them worked out because of a variety of issues either with the handler, other dogs, or most recently - anxiety and aggression. He has never bitten or been aggressive towards people with us except for anxiety with men. Recently during our meet and greets he has shown increased anxiety and aggression which has made the process much more challenging. We are incredibly devoted to Charlie and want the absolute best life for him. He currently is with his trainer in GA but we need a long term solution that will help him and his new family succeed. We are here to support this transition financially and with any questions they have. We can also provide food and any supplies needed to assist. Of course we would like to continue being a part of his life as much as possible but we understand this is unlikely. We just want a happy ending for him.
